The Gorge Wine Challenge

Labor Day Weekend August 27 - Sept. 1, 2008

This unique event will be held at Hooba's/Fitzgerald's fine Wines

at the Husum Hills Golf course, located in the heart of the Gorge

just north of White Salmon, WA/Hood River, OR

This even focus is on Washington and Oregon wines and will include

Winemakers Judging other producers wines

prior to the public event

which will include a tasting, gala dinner, and wine tours around the Gorge.

August 27th

Winemakers judging

limited to 2 entries per winery - Red or white

August 28th

Event participant and volunteer BBQ

August 29th

Public tasting at Hooba's includes local foods and Washington cheeses

August 30th

Gala dinner featuring the winning wines paired with a menu created by

Chef Michel LeBorgne of the New England Culinary Institute

August 31st & September 1st

Wine tours throughout the Gorge AVA and opportunities for other

recreational pursuits
